“Home Grown II: A Patchwork of Country Gardening”
The Country Fair at Rosemark Home and Garden Exposition will include a National Garden Club Horticulture Specialty Flower Show, “Home Grown II: A Patchwork of Country Gardening,” hosted by the Garden Club of Rosemark. This will be a judged Horticulture Specialty Flower Show open to the public. This is a community horticulture show! Residents of north Shelby and south Tipton area are invited to participate by bringing horticulture specimens and photography entries to Memorial Hall of the Richland A.R.P. Church, 8658 Rosemark Road in the Rosemark community. The Flower Show will be open for viewing from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
All horticultural specimens and photography are to be brought to Memorial Hall Friday, September 28, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Horticultural classes have been expanded for many of the sections including Herbs, Homegrown Vegetables, and Homegrown Fruits. All photography exhibits must relate to horticulture, gardening, or landscape designs. For the first time this year, Youth Photography classes are offered. This year photographs should not be matted.
In addition to the Home and Garden Exposition, special exhibits by Cathy Faust of the University of Tennessee Extension Office, Davies Manor Association, and the Old Fashioned Country Kitchen will be in the Memorial Hall of the Richland A.R.P. Church.
